Melainie Rogers is a registered dietitian and founder of melainie rogers nutrition LLC, a nutrition counseling private practice in Manhattan, New York.  Her specialties include eating disorders, weight management and gastric bypass surgery counseling. 

 

Melainie Rogers received her Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition from Deakin University, Australia. Her Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition was obtained from New York University. 

 

Melainie completed an internship in clinical nutrition at New York University Medical Center.  She worked extensively in obesity research, and counseled clients for weight management, weight loss surgery nutrition, and eating disorders before establishing her own private practice.  She is currently an Advisory Board Member for the Renfrew Eating Disorder Center in New York City.

Marisa Sherry is a registered dietitian at melainie rogers nutrition LLC. She provides nutrition counseling for pediatrics, teenagers and adults. Marisa works with eating disorders, weight management and gastric bypass surgery clients.  Other specialties include, diabetes, HIV/ AIDS, food allergies, heart health and various other disease conditions.

 

Marisa received a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and completed her dietetic internship at New York University Medical Center.  She has a passion for cooking and continues to take classes at the Institute for Culinary Education.  

 

Marisa’s past professional experiences have included working in the Comprehensive Care Center at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital and currently as the Bionutrition Research Coordinator at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine General Clinical Research Center.
