Melainie Rogers received her Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition from Deakin University, Australia. Her Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition was obtained from New York University. 

Melainie completed an internship in clinical nutrition at New York University Medical Center.  She worked extensively in obesity research, and counseled clients for weight management, weight loss surgery nutrition, and eating disorders before establishing her own private practice. 

Melainie has expanded her couseling practice with BALANCE eating disorder treatment centerTM which offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Adolescent Weight Management Program, and a Day Treatment Program (2010).

marisa sherry ms, rd

Marisa Sherry is a registered dietitian and Practice Manager at melainie rogers nutrition LLC.  Marisa works with eating disorders, weight management and gastric bypass surgery clients.  Other specialties include, pediatrics, teenagers and adults,  diabetes, HIV/ AIDS, food allergies, heart health and various other disease conditions.

Marisa has an integral role in the development, and running of our new BALANCE eating disorder treatment centerTM.

Marisa received a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and completed her dietetic internship at New York University Medical Center.  She has a passion for cooking and continues to take classes at the Institute for Culinary Education.  

Marisa’s past professional experiences have included working in the Comprehensive Care Center at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital and as the Bionutrition Research Coordinator at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine General Clinical Research Center.

Claire Sutcliffe is a registered dietitian at melainie rogers nutrition LLC. She offers nutrition counseling for eating disorders, weight management, gastric bypass surgery, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and pre-pregnancy and post-partum care. 

She completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition at New York University in affiliation with New York University Medical Center and works in private practice in Manhattan. 

Claire likes to treat clients holistically and advocates evidence-based alternative therapies to complement scientific nutrition principles, such as stress management techniques (DST developmental skills training, breathing techniques, meditation, aromatherapy, visualization etc.).  She studied therapies at the University of Westminster, London, The Namikoshi School of Shiatsu, Tokyo and Health Schools Australia, Queensland.
